..On Internet and the helplessness

Ever since the advent of the technology giants like Google and Facebook (to cite  a few) ...life certainly has changed for many of us (..not mine that much)..but many of us...the way we communicate , learn , teach,spread a view , "LIKE" , dislike ,contact , connect ,disconnect  , eat, sleep (..mine sleeping habits are the same ,though ) ...it has changed so much for many of us that it wont be offensive to imagine some net-addict  , writing a comment using his I-pad  , on the topic "THE MANNER WE PEE.." ,while peeing . Never does the commenting person realize that the post was written by some 2nd or 3rd rater with an IQ  of 70 ..(..and if both the persons, writing and commenting, are of the same level ...then that's another thing..) 


..Now,was this "change" REQUIRED ? ..I'll leave that upto the judgement of the reader...
I,personally,don't do that...Socializing ,for me , is more than just chit-chatting on net ..far more than that..( primitive side,alas !) ..now ,this net-compulsive behavior of this generation was already ingrained   inside us and was trying to find a medium to express itself  OR it became a necessity after the invention of these social networking sites ....I mean,which happened first ( murgi ya anda)..that I am not sure of....maybe both happened simultaneously ..who knows ! ...anyways, most of the sites are  generating revenues in billions of dollars and that justifies all the reasons ..(for some ..)..which brings us at yet another interesting thought ...the MANNER in which revenue is generated...At the top of my head ,I  have ::


 - - Creative products WITH an industry/consumer NECESSITY (e.g. :Windows basic and the  
                                                                                                                      later versions,Internet ,
                                                                                                                      Oracle DBMS et al)                                    
- -Creative product WITHOUT much necessity (..some relying on customer's weaknesses even)
                                                                                      
- - Non-creative products with necessity (e.g :Upgraded versions of the purpose-oriented s/w , 
                                                                                 a chair made by a carpenter for some customer )


- - Non- creative products without any necessity (.. some relying on customer's weaknesses,again) 
                                                                                                                      


                                                 With most of the socio - networking sites falling under second category ....and  under fourth , most of the addictive products like liquor  that too of B/C - grade . 




                                                                           Now, Internet is an amazing invention (or...rather concept/idea..phone lines and air existed even before Internet was found )..which transgresses boundaries ...connects people ...it defines the speed at which a view,message or an idea is spread ..also its range ..but not its NATURE. The characteristic or the essence of any message /idea/ content  is defined by the PEOPLE behind those contents ...hence regulated by the law of the land (together with the policies of the sites on which the content is put )...clean..fair enough ..where is the helplessness ?/
                                                                        ...It arises when the DEFINITION of ethical/ non-ethical differs ...because it depends, primarily , on the social trends / core-values of the region/nation to which the content relates to ...(which can differ from a company's content policies)..hence,the problem...or rather helplessness..Now, I am NOT in favor of entirely banning ..even santabanta.com ...leave alone Facebook and Google ...but the point of  view of  people willing to ban it ...is worth hearing at least (...by ANY intellectual standard)...
