..On the Relativity of Truth ..and Universality-2

In continuance to my previous post , this one is ONLY  for those who have followed and read my earlier posts …’coz only they will be able to understand what I intend  to convey …rest can sleep it over ..

In my last post , we talked  about relativity and how all adjectives are relative (.. and that’s why  grammar of any language  has comparative and superlative degrees) .. and by proving how these adjectives are space and person dependent (I skipped time) , I may have given relief (or broaden their minds to a certain degree)  to many who are affected by these , in an ABSOLUTE  negative OR positive sense .

So, if all adjectives are relative (or rather dependent upon) to people ascribing it to others (..and place/time dependent) then why is that MOST OF THE GOOD PEOPLE SEE GOODNESS EVERYWHERE and in everyone and the evil one’s see evil ?...does not our whole adjective-relative -theory   run contrary to our general observation of people anywhere in the  world ? ..Because that is what happens …good one’s see goodness everywhere ..evil one’s see evil…

Shouldn’t the good one’s see evil everywhere and the evil one’s goodness ..but THAT DOESN’T HAPPEN . As per our observation anywhere in  the world ,people are more apt to see SIMILARITY rather than DIFFERENCES as far as FEELINGS are concerned ..and hence the adjectives ,  defining qualities related to heart ,good(at heart), evil(at heart) , loving,  affectionate,  passionate ,kind  etc. DON’T  go on gradations defined by   geographical , personal or time domains ..

            1) Two good persons  remain good anywhere and at anytime .First  one does not become evil RELATIVE to the second  who might be a little “more good” at heart  (..may be that’s what hold all  together)

   2) But , the less intelligent one is considered SLOW  relative to the more intelligent one ..or a beautiful one (at one place) , placed in a society full of beauty queens is definitely considered to be ugly..

..this is the CATCH  I talked about in my earlier post. Adjectives defining the mental / physical qualities (smart, intelligent, beautiful, dumb, fast , RICH(..how can I leave this one) ,poor et al)  are MORE LIKELY  to go on relativity scale (by others) compared to those defining  feelings (loving, hateful ,kind ,passionate ,good (at heart) ,evil etc) …I mean to say there’s nothing like MORE KIND or MORE GOOD or MORE EVIL …a person is either good or evil ,affectionate or resentful ,kind or harsh (all related to feelings) …but  gradations come in when we talk about the mental/physical qualities of  the  concerned one’s (..may be that’s why we have grades in school based  on mental levels ).

        

           Anyways , whether  a person’s mind  sees similarity (ARTISTIC bend) or differences (SCIENTIFIC bend) everywhere  …NEITHER  of  it  is  a  guaranteed  mark of him being Good or Evil  (..NOTHING TO DO WITH GOODNESS OR EVIL..ahh )…its just a bend of mind …not a guarantee of a person’s soul. But one thing for sure …the one’s seeing similarity everywhere are primarily driven by FEELINGS while those seeing differences are driven by INTELLECT/intelligence …(..two bends of mind …as far as I can think. There’s   another bend ,though …Political bend.. which I’ll skip  …its not that I don’t know about that…but, I’ll skip that)

I, myself ,being the one who sees differences everywhere and don’t  hesitate to grade myself (and others too) ,somewhere  feel that it’s the tendency of seeing similarity everywhere which INTEGRATES PEOPLE..across the borders ..across nations …and within too (..when one start seeing similarity everywhere ,he/she starts considering him/herself PART OF THE WHOLE..that is what happens….and that ,I suppose , is the reason behind INTEGRITY among people/nations  )..

But mind you…and mind PROPERLY.. that it’s the SAME TENDENCY OF SEEING SIMILARITY which integrates EVIL TOO…because of my earlier argument that THE BEND OF MIND OF A PERSON IS NO GUARANTEE OF HIS BEING GOOD or EVIL ..

                                                           …a person having an artistic bend (seeing similarity everywhere )..considering himself  “part of the whole”  may go thieving around in his spare time (I  call them "cockroaches")

While another one seeing differences everywhere(..and knowing about relativity)  lives by himself …somewhat hiding his goodness from being known to others (…may be he is waiting for another Big-Bang to happen…and then he’ll show how good he is …just a humor )..

    p.s.::Next ,I’ll write a fictional story ...full of  loves ,betrayals ,passions (of different degrees)  having a streak of darkness (more like West Side Story)
...will give you all a real 3-D experience
